Push Pier System

The PPR002 Push Pier is a reliable foundation stabilization solution engineered for efficient installation and long-term structural support. Designed to be installed directly beneath an existing structure, this push pier system uses hand tools and a hydraulic ram, eliminating the need for heavy machinery and minimizing site disruption.

The system consists of a pier head, a pier lead, and a series of 8-inch inner and outer steel pipes. These pipes overlap to create the required pier length, allowing the system to be extended until it reaches competent, load-bearing soil or bedrock. Once installed, the pier is securely anchored to the structure using pier brackets.

Also known as push piles, resistance piers, hydraulic push piers, or jacked piles, push pier systems work by transferring the weight of the structure to stable soil layers deep below the surface. During installation, a hydraulic ram pushes the hollow steel pipes into the ground, using the structure’s own weight as resistance. This resistance locks the piers in place, providing exceptional stability, lifting capability, and foundation leveling.

With a proven design that has been trusted for over 100 years, push piers offer a time-tested alternative to helical piers. Unlike helical systems, the PPR002 does not require large equipment, making it ideal for tight access areas, interior installations, and projects where minimal disturbance is critical.
